Beautiful pair of handmade Murano glass goblets, wine glasses. Slightly different, each piece is individually sculpted featuring a unique cup and detailed stem. Each stem includes a cristallo, clear, and gold glass leaf. Tallest piece measures 27 centimeters by 10 centimeters; 10.6 inches by 4 inches. They are available as a pair for E 1,300.00 or individually at E 750 each.
Murano glass goblets, also called "tipetti" or calici became famous during the baroque period when the glass masters of Murano responded to competition from other European glass producers by infusing their work with ever more intricate combinations of shapes and colors. Murano glass goblets with intricately sculpted stems, often including swans, snakes or flowers, were coveted by nobility throughout Europe.
