A Large, Convenient & Adaptable Space

The Glass Cathedral Santa Chiara is a well-located, modular, space which can be divided according to client-needs, making it suitable for hosting many types of events. Excellent acoustics make it perfect for concerts, while the two-story room with a central balcony is wonderful for shows, demonstrations and parties.  The second story is optimal for exhibitions, performances and conferences while the lower floors are excellent for tasting events and dinners.

The Glass Cathedral - Santa Chiara is located on the Island of Murano, where Venice' famous Murano Glass objects are still produced by hand using methods developed on this island over hundreds of years.  Our space has a furnace for glass working demonstrations, and a large collection of Murano Glass.  Meanwhile, the space is equipped with everything you need to plan and furnish a spectacular event.

The Ex Chiesa di Santa Chiara is located in the first historic district of glass production on the Island of Murano, on the Island of Santo Stefano east of the Fondamenta dei Vetrai. Murano remains unique in the world of art and artisanship. Here, Murano glass objects are still produced by hand using the same techniques developed and practiced on the Island for hundreds of years. Hundreds of thousands of people flock here each year to see the process of creation behind each extraordinary work of Murano glass.
